Boat rentals at Lake Junaluska include canoe, kayak and stand up paddle board rentals. Tennis courts, mini golf and shuffle board are located nearby.

Soco Falls  is a double waterfall located on the Cherokee Nation close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. It's easily accessible from Highway 19.

Art Loeb Trail  is a 28.5 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Ecusta, North Carolina that features a river and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November.

Cataloochee Divide Trail  is a 13.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Waynesville, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is only recommended for very experienced adventurers.

Sunburst swimming hole  is a popular spot, located near Lake Logan off of 215, near Bethel, NC. It features a beach area and a rock to jump off of. If This whole area is great for scenic drives!

Hike the Appalachian Trail at  Max Patch , one of North Carolina’s most popular AT hikes, on a grassy, bald mountain that’s covered in wildflowers. Catch a gorgeous sunrise, sunset or afternoon picnic on this moderate two mile loop with stunning 360-degree views and seemingly endless sunshine.
